Welcome to Dennis Port ........
.......a small family-friendly beach village in the town of Dennis here on the Cape.
The Cape with it’s 500 plus miles of coastline has much to offer guests with diverse interests. The Cape's stretch of land
juts into the Atlantic and encompasses several towns and villages each one with it's own uniqueness. Our cottages are located in the town of Dennis which is considered to be the “Heart of the Cape” and within the town you will find Dennis Port,
a popular, summer beach community.
Dennis is a very popular choice for many visitors to the Cape. The population of Dennis swells in summertime to nearly five times is year round population.
Dennis is one of the few towns on the
Cape fortunate to have beaches on both the Nantucket Sound and Cape Cod Bay as well as two fresh water beaches and kettle ponds that are hidden away. Windsurfing is popular at West Dennis Beach and kayaking and stand up paddling is offered along the Bass River,
the largest tidal river on the eastern seaboard.
For cycling enthusiasts The Cape Cod Rail Trail starts here in Dennis. The 22 mile trail winds along ponds, cranberry bogs and flora and fauna. Dennis is also home to many art galleries
and one of the oldest summer theaters in the nation. The Dennis Playhouse has brought professional Broadway actors to the Cape for over 80 years. Also, co-located on the grounds of the Playhouse is the Cape Cod Museum of Art. Along with culture
there are many sports and family-oriented activities right here in Dennis. Kayaking, cycling, wind-surfing, river cruise, sightseeing tours, great public golf Courses and mini-golf too! These are just a sampling of activities right here in town
